Circle Lens Review: Geo Hurricane Brown

Geo Hurricane Brown
Purchased from Pinky Paradise.

I had been looking at these for a good month but still didn't want to buy them. Then I read somewhere that the Hurricane Series were actually going to be discontinued so regardless if it's true or not, that's what swayed my decision.
I wanted a Brown lens that was natural with a twist, from the pictures that's what it looked like. Now onward to the review.

Color-Design: 10/10
The Geo Hurricane Browns are actually more Hazel and the Geo Hurricane Hazel's are actually more Brown. I thought that was kinda ironic. Nonetheless I love the color of these. They look great on my natural eye color, whether in direct light or natural light. I'm glad as far as a natural lens with flavor this looked exactly how I hoped. It does have a Dark ring but since the contact is brown it blends well and makes the eyes pop even more.

Comfort 3/10:
The Geo Ash Wings were fine on my eyes. These are the opposite which crushed me. When I first put them in it took literally 10mins for me to stop blinking every second because of discomfort. I made sure the lens wasn't inside out which it wasn't. They were very uncomfortable and even though the it did improve, my eyes didn't care for them. Tried them again today, it took 5mins this time for my eyes to be okay with them and stop blinking like crazy due to discomfort but I couldn't bare to keep them on. Really am bummed because I love how these look on my eyes. I can't get over how they feel in my eye though.

I can feel them move when I blink, I can see them move when I blink in the mirror. Sometimes it's a slight movement and other times it's not :-/

Enlargement 10/10:
They are 14.0mm in diameter though with the black outer ring they do appear more of a 14.5mm. Even so I like the look a lot.

Overall 5/10:
These lenses would be my number 1 if they were just comfortable! The comfort really brings it down a lot. You're putting something in your eye so it should be comfortable, not unpleasant :-).
I'll give these another try later but right now, very disappointed.

Circle Lens Review: Geo Ash Wing

Last week I received my Package of Circle Lenses that I Ordered from Pinky Paradise. I ordered 5, though only have 4 that are personally mine, one was for a friend. Here is the first review of that Package bundle :-).

Geo Ash Wing!
I wanted some greys that were subtle yet still noticeable, that were the the standard contact Diameter of 14.0mm and give a "WOW" effect in a sense. I felt these would be it and here's what I honestly thought after putting them in:

Here's just a comparison of my eye color and me with them on.

For Color-Design: 7/10

I loved how the color showed up in flash. It looks great in flash with the Grey really popped out so to speak in a thick ring around my eye.
Though, Flash and direct light was the best way for the color to show. If you had bad lighting in a room/low indoor lighting, then well it looked more like this:

The grey is very dark in low lighting/no direct light and if the room is really low light with let's say a blind partially open and that's it these can look like a Black Grey.
Aside from that, because of the design the "Pupil" area of the contact looks huge. If you have dark eyes then from far away your Eye pupil does indeed look big which increases the "Dolly/Anime" effect.

Comfort: 8/10
I know GEO's have a hit and miss when it comes to whether people like them or not. These GEO's actually weren't too bad actually. I could feel them in my eye but it wasn't an irritating thing, just a "oh my contact is in." I will say they have the same Comfort level as my Acuvue 2s :-).
I did have come drying, but it wasn't to a point where I needed drops. They didn't move when I blinked which was lovely to know because even my Acuvue's do that!

Enlargement: 10/10
These don't really enlarge, which is fine because it was exactly what I wanted. I knew they were 14.0mm in Diameter and that they didn't have a dark outer ring.

Overall: 8/10
Geo Ash Wings are a nice Grey lens if you want the a Lens in which effect is to be Halo and stand-out without looking like an Oddball so to speak.

Though if Oddball is what you want then go for it :-).
Was a nice lens to purchase though now I'm on the hunt for another Grey.
