[Circle Lens Review] Gothic Eye Hazel

(Phone Picture)

Hello Readers! Happy New Year
This is going to be a Quick Review of the Gothic Eye Hazel that I purchased from Apple Of Your Eyes.

I received these in the Package I got back in September last year. I did not open and wear these until Christmas Weekend.

First I would like to say that I was surprised at how these looked!

I was hoping they wouldn't look like Freshlook Hazel lenses. If you've seen pictures (Google is your friend) or in person of how they look, FL's have more of a Orange/Light Brown color that can come off as off putting depending on Make-Up, Skin tone and Eye color.

These I felt were more Subtle, natural.

Appearance 10/10
Honestly I didn't think I would care for these much and I Do. I Love them!

(Camera Photo)
Further away shot with Flash.

Camera Close up with Flash.

Camera Close up Without Flash.

I didn't take a lot of pictures since this is a more Natural Lens. You mainly just want to see what it looks like up close, far away and in dark verse light.

I don't have any Outside pictures because at the time the pictures were taken it was Cold and then it became FREEZING days later (I'm sure you heard about that Chicago weather a week ago!).

Feel?

I was also surprised at how these felt. They weren't a pain to get in, or take out. They also didn't try to fall out of my eye when my eyes were dried out and need drops.
For Comfort: 9.5/10

Enlargement: 10/10

I did not buy these for Enlargement. These give off a 14.5mm Diameter. If you want a Dolly Eye/Anime Look then these are not for you.

Overall: 10/10.

I will definitely be Replacing these once I need to. Love them. Received nice compliments.

Circle Lens Review: Fiffy 4 Tone Violet (Vassen)

Hello!

I would of had an Update for you all last week but sadly I was sick due to the forever changing of the weather here in the Midwest, US. So I was mainly in the bed all week when I wasn't at work. Thankfully I am well now but I see that while I was down; Apparently so was my Blog :-/.

My Pictures for everything were gone. Due to a Picasa mishap. So I am slowly right now trying to Fix previous Posts, Starting with the newer ones first. Hopefully this won't happen again!

Reviewing Vassen's Fiffy 4 Tone series in Violet.

Purchased along the same Bundle from Apple of Your Eyes.

Unlike the LuxuryBabe 61 series they did not come in the Blister Pack but in a Vial.

Diameter: 14.5m
Water Content: 55%
Manufacturer: Vassen Co.
I'm sure Base Curve is the Standard 8.6.

There isn't suppose to be a different between the LuxuryBabe branding and the Vassen for the Fiffy 4 Tone lenses but the Brown LB's I reviewed before these were horrid on my eyes compared to these. Just from that alone I feel that Vassen/Candylicious has the upper hand over LuxuryBabe right now.

Comfort: 9.0/10.0!

I did not take a Comparison for the Enlarging effect but the effect is Minimal. These give a slight enlarging effect but nothing drastic. If you are looking for a lens with Enlargement as a main factor then these are not for you.

Enlargement: 10/10 They were perfect for me.

Now for Appearance:

The Lenses are a Light Purple, Dark Purple, Pink and a Honey Brown in the middle. It's actually more of a Pastel lens as far as eye catching Violet. It's a nice lens if you want to add a little something to your eye that isn't noticeable as far as Size and color from a far. Close up you can tell but if someone were to talk to you a few feet away, they might be able to tell you have Contacts on but probably not the color.

Appearance: 6.0/10

I was looking for more of a Opaque as far as colors go with Violet but I still enjoy the lenses, they are my favorite so far.

Overall: 7.5/10

Circle Lens Review: LuxuryBabe Luxury 61

Hey guys.
I was going to wait until the weekend for this review but due to Lenses I pushed it for today since I won't be able to deal with these lenses come the Weekend...

These are the LuxuryBabe Luxury 61 in Brown. Purchased from Apple Of Your Eyes.

Diameter: 16.0mm (Enlarging Effect, they are 14.5mm)
Water Content: 45%
Base Curve: 8.6
Manufacturer: Belmore INC, Korea
Even the Thickness is mentioned at 0.04mm.
Prescription: PLANO to -5.50.

These are suppose to be the "Bigger" version of Candylicious (Vassen) Fiffy 4 Tone Series which is labeled as 14.5mm. The water content on those are 55%.

They did not come in your typical Vial, they came in a Blister Pack:

Having never heard of the company and brand I decided to give them a try. Who's to say I wouldn't like them if I didn't give them a try, ya know?
Looking forward to putting these on and wearing them all week I was anxious to get these open and going. I Soaked them in Clear Care over night and when it was time to put them on, well, I was disappointed.

Appearance of the Lens it has a Brown Limbal Ring. Not Heavy but with a natural appearance to it actually. The actual lens is more of a Honey mixed with Brown and slight orange color.
I was looking for a Lens that was Brown but still give a nice POP. Some Brown lenses in which you look for that are lighter tend to come off with an Orange hue to them.

Appearance: 9.0/10.0

For effect I did want a Larger lens this time and I felt these were large but not overwhelming. You can wear these without need of Make-Up. The Enlargement was a nice size

Enlargement: 8.0/10.0

Now for Comfort...

The Comfort was the main reason why I could not wait for the weekend to do this Review. These were very Uncomfortable. Looking outside was almost impossible. I couldn't stop blinking my eyes long enough for more than 5 seconds due to Irritation. As you can see my eyes look a bit Watery and the veins in my eyes are showing more due to the Irritation.
I really wanted to give these a chance. I had already used Clear Care over them over night so then I even soaked them in Aquify for a few minutes to see if that would help and no, sadly these were uncomfortable. I won't say Unbearable but just as close. I wouldn't wear these for more than just a Photo-Op and only if had to. You can feel these. It isn't painful but you can definitely feel the lenses on your lids and the edge of them.

It reminded me of the Geo Hurricane Brown's(<--that review) I had from over 2 years ago.

Comfort: 3.5/10.0

Overall: 4.5/10.0 Though the Appearance and Enlargement were nice, the Comfort is not something in which I would want to purchase or wear these again and sadly make me Hesitant of other LuxuryBabe Contact Series.

Hoping that the Vassen/Candylicious Fiffy 4 Tone Series are actually comfortable compared to these. I am reviewing the Violet lenses from that series next Lens Review.

Puffy 3 Tone Grey Lens Review - Picture Heavy

Hello Everyone! Stuck to my word of updating this weekend and I do indeed have a review for you all, so they's get this started!

Let's the the Basic manufacture & sizing out of the way;

Manufacturer: Dueba
Diameter: 14.5mm
Effect: 16.0mm
Base Curve: 8.6
Prescription: 0.00 to -10.00

Ordered these from Apple of Your Eyes, Standard post. Received in 2 weeks in US.

As you can see they have a Thick Grey Limbal ring. As it gets inward it goes into a Light Grey and the middle is a Yellow Accent color with some Brown.

I will say that these Lenses can come off as Three Different Colors, based off of the Lighting and Distance one is looking at you.

For the Enlargement you can see that there is a noticeable size of Enlarging Effect. Though the effect is not Off putting. You can get away with wearing these without Make-Up.

Enlargement: 8.0/10.0.
Note: I did not buy these for the Enlargement.

With Both in for Flash, depending on the Angle and view the Grey have more of a Blue hue to them as you can see.

Without Flash it looks more Grey but still with a Blue tint to it with a yellow center.

As noted above they can come off as Three different colors. In this picture with the different room lighting (no flash) The Yellow blends in with the Grey and it comes off as a Light Cloudy Green. At work they showed up more so as Green/Grey than Grey or a Blue/Grey. It all depends on the Lighting! As well as the color of your eyes.

Appearance: 6.0/10.0

At first I did not care for these lenses when I first put these on due to how the Yellow in the middle can be give a Fish Eye effect but soon you forget it's there after you get use to the look of the lenses. I received compliments on the lenses but the color is what people were confused upon.

"Oh, are those Green?" "Are those Blue?" "They don't look Grey." If you want a lens with a Solid color in lighting then these aren't for you.

For Comfort these Lenses were Alright. I love Dueba, I fell in love with them with the G&G/Dueba Natural Green lenses I ordered from them, as well as in Violet but I yes I could tell these were in my eyes.
Was there an Irritation? No. I do work in a Dry environment.

Comfort: 7.0/10.0

I also want to Note: When trying out Lenses make sure that not only do you have your Solutions up to date/Not Expired (or Open pass 90 days). You want to make sure that you are not Allergic to it as well. If you have Itchy Eyes/Irritation as soon as you put on the Contacts after a few minutes, it's usually not the Lens. It's the Solution in which you have them in.

Overall: 7.0/10.0

Long Overdue Coming Back Post

Long long overdue on returning and also - I Need To Update My Layout, EEK MUCH! -

So I DISAPPEARED, which is horrible because my blog still gets views, I get some E-mails about the Reviews I did and all while this is going on I'm just sitting here like "I Really Need To Get Back To Doing My Reviews." Because honestly, it's fun to me. It kept my mind off of stress and away from other stuff. To be focused on a Task.

Now with that said I do have some Lenses I plan to review Coming along in the next few weeks starting (goal) this Weekend! Now I do work Night shift so if not this weekend it WILL (Guarantee) Be next weekend.

With that said do I even HAVE the lenses?

I indeed to! I ordered from Apple Of Your Eyes! I have 6 Lenses to review for you all! Excitement!

I've been waiting on the Package for 2 weeks so I was so happy to finally get it, was hoping it wasn't delivered to a different address.

Upcoming Lenses that will be Reviewed! I won't say which ones right now but once I do a Review I will let you know what the next one will be at the bottom of it.

I've ordered from AOYE's before and didn't have an issue. I thought 7 pairs and though directly in front of you, you only see 6, there's one off to the side.

Sadly a Vial was broke upon Delivery (probably explains the blurred out return address). It was my Hazel Gothic 14.5 Lenses I was going to review.

I figured my luck of not having a broken vial yet on delivery would run out. Thankfully I am not upset, since I have 6 pairs I CAN wear.

I don't blame anyone aside from Mishandling. There's a Fragile glass sticker on it, and stamped, but I doubt it was taken into consideration. When I received from the Postman I could tell it had been handled many. I do plan on replacing, just a matter of trying to get the same Lenses or different Hazel ones :-).

Updates to come!

Circle Lenses Review: Kimchi Mio Pink

I figure I would at least do some reviews WITHOUT always having eyeliner on my eyes to give a better look as far as how they look without Make-Up!

Onto another Kimchi Mio series review, this time on the Kimchi Mio Pink.

The Kimchi Mio Series are 14.5mm Diameter Circle Lenses and this one of course is no exception.
It is Pink with swirls of a light brown/orange and specks of black. They are by far one of my favorite series based on Design. I really so like the Kimchi Brand a lot in general.

Now the Brown ones I purchased from Geo-Lens House. These I believe I purchased from Apple Of Your Eyes. Both have great prices (though Geo-Lens might be for a couple dollars less) with a 2 week waiting period. EMS is offered but with of course much higher rate than FedEx.

These are a little easier to tell the color versus the Brown Mio ones, due to the Pink of course. So even in Room Light/Low Light you can tell the color, which is nice :-).

Comfort: 10/10
They are comfortable. Very comfortable brand in my option. They do get drying but it's nothing that can't be handled with eye drops. This is to be expected with contact lenses.
I have worn these for 12 hours in one day. I did have to wet my eyes twice but that's to be expected. They didn't give me any problems and my eyes didn't start to hurt past 8 hours.
Disclaimer:
It is not recommended to wear large Circle Lenses after 8 hrs.

Design: 9/10
I enjoy the swirling. I like the Geo Hurricane series but since they are indeed an old series the lenses themselves are not comfortable and are now not in production anymore. These are a nice and larger substitute! I kinda wish the Brown wasn't the same accent in all their lenses but blended in with more of what ever color Lenses you have but so be it :-).

Enlargement: 10/10

They are enlarging, and very Dolly.

Overall: 10/10

The review for the Kimchi Mio Brown is Here. Picture quality it wasn't my best (Pre-New Camera - Phone and webcam pics) but you still actually get a nice idea :-).

Circle Lens Review: Blytheye Grey (EOS New Adult Grey)

Purchased a new Camera, which is exciting! Better quality pictures. Also means more photos :-D!

Reviewing Dolly Eye's Blytheye Grey which is also known as EOS New Adult Grey. Purchased from Apple Of Your Eyes. Had the hardest time trying to find a Seller that had my Degree (-1.00) in stock! Apparently it's a popular one and sellers didn't seem to have it In-Stock. I even had to wait with A.O.Y.E's but Allyson wait wasn't as bad as the others (been looking for months and they had months wait time).
I'm excited about these lenses I've been on a search for a Grey that SHOWS Grey but still looks great.

Onto the Review - Picture Dominated:

Dolly Eye's Blytheye Grey is 14mm with about a 15mm enlargement.

The color is very Prominent, and as you see it as an Off Black/Dark Grey specked solid Limbal.

Compared to my Geo Ash Wing Grey which is also 14.0mm the Grey color is much more Opaque in The Blytheye's than the Geo Ash. Also the Blytheye's come as as large due to the darker and more solid outer Edge.

Compared to the Pop Queen Grey (possible review coming soon, also purchased from A.O.Y.E's) which is 14.5mm in diameter with a 16mm Enlarging effect, they make the Pop Queen Grey come off as Black - especially in Room Light/Low Lit areas.

With them both in the first thing I noticed that they are QUITE Comfortable! I can't recall myself ever owning any EOS/Dolly Eye Lenses out of the 20+ I have so far. I thought G&G were comfortable but I think EOS might take the Cake as far as I don't feel them at all. 5 hours can pass and I don't feel any irritation, no dryness.

There is no discomfort. I like how the grey SHOWS and it's not in a Stand-off way. These aren't Natural but they aren't something that will cause Heads to turn right away either, but they will definitely catch someone's eye :-). I don't feel it moving when I look around. It fits nice.

Ratings:
Comfort - 10/10 wow these are just very comfortable. I get dry eyes, and these don't make it worse, awesome!
Design/Appeal - 9/10, I love the fact that the Grey shows up well in Low Light and Room Light. Very In your face in flash though which bothers me a little but it is a contact so you can't have everything.
Enlargement - 10/10 It isn't as Enlarging as other lenses I have and I wasn't purchasing it for the Enlargement, but the 15mm is just fine with me :-).
Overall - 10/10

I think I finally have found me a Grey lens that I can wear out and NOT have to wear Make-up with/SHOWS UP WELL!
Next Challenge is a Blue that looks good :-D!

Circle Lens Review: Kimchi Bambi Series (Brown, Green, Grey)

Note: I buy my own things, no one gives me free things... I don't feel I need to say that again. So this is my money and my own eye comfort level.. OKAY?! (lol!)

Also I need a Camera... So... yeah shut it.

Now that we have that out of the way.... :D

I bought The Grey and Green from Apple Of Your Eyes which is a Blogspot Circle Lens Store! The Brown I purchased from BlingBlingEyes since I had a credit that was on my account from a lens they didn't have in stock. Have in total bought I believe a good 10 lenses or so from Allyson (Apple of your eyes) - All of which I am behind on Reviewing (Sorry sorry sorry). She is nice to work with. If she is out of Stock with a lens that you want she will Recommend others lenses and send pictures of lenses that are Similar to the original :-)

Kimchi Bambi Series are the Alternative of the Geo Mimi Series. There are more than the 3 colors stated though in the Bambi series, a total of 6. These are just the ones I purchased.
The difference between the Kimchi Bambi versus Geo Mimi Series is that first Geo Mimi is 15.0mm in Diameter, Kimchi Bambi is 14.5mm in Diameter. Kimchi also has 3 more colors to choose from and I have felt since Mimi series came out that they were a bit "Harsher" in Design as far as color goes, and the Bambi aren't as bad :-).

Now to look at how big they give off in Appearance/Enlargement with one Lens in and one out:

(I am sorry about the Red Eye - I put the lens in with a bit too much Solution in the middle and that's what caused it.)
Again the Lens is 14.5mm, gives an Enlargement of 16.2mm. The Pattern On the Lens as shown is a Heavy Black Outer Ring with some of the Black coming inward with a spike design. The main color is where you see the Black spiking inward and the Middle is a Honey Color on every lens in the Bambi Series. So regardless if you have a Pink lens or Grey, it is a Honey.

With Both Contacts In:

Make-up is the Trick with these Lenses I feel, a little Eyeliner goes along way with this color and series IMO.

Also the color of your Iris seems to play a key role. As you see my eyes are Brown, I noticed that even though the lenses are colored they aren't Heavily Colored - like the Dueba Dolly Eye Series - My Iris made the color popped more, so if you have Brown eyes you should be fine and the color will pop from across the room.

Photo taken with no touch-up or Flash so in Bathroom light. Grey Lenses.

I have no Photos of me with the Green, mainly because I am not comfortable with the color of them as of yet. They are a very VIVID green.
These contacts do not have a high water content. Eye drops is a must if you plan on having them all day. I say after 4 - 5hours you will need drops, or prepare to feel the stinging of the eyes. Though maybe even 3 if you're in a drying environment.

Ratings:
Design/Color: 8/10 - I kind of wish the Honey color around the Pupil wasn't as light as it is but it's still a nice design
Appearance/Enlargement: 7/10 - I feel as though I get that Fish-eye Look slightly, even though the Pupil isn't as small as it could be. I dislike Fishy-eye contacts so much lol. For 14.5 I feel they are very enlarging with the Heavy Solid Outer ring.
Comfort: 8/10 - These are quite comfortable while moist, though when drying up I can feel that there is something ON my eye, it isn't uncomfortable just a sticking feeling a little bit.
